It has literally been forever since I last posted, and I apologize for that! No excuses, I have been a slacker. Let me assure you though, we are alive and well!
Instead of feeling overwhelmed and guilty about everything I DIDN'T blog over the past year and a half, I'm going to do a quick catch up...and then just set the goal to blog weekly. No point on dwelling on me being a bum...instead I will just amaze and wow you with my future posts! ;)
Jason: Jason has been busy working hard owning his own business. He worked super hard from August 2010 - May 2011 and did a ton of traveling. We missed him a lot, but we LOVED having him home to play with us all summer! He is an amazing dad and the boys sure love him! He built an amazing and intricate play set (Ethan calls it his "park") and also landscaped both the front yard and the back yard this summer. I feel very blessed to have him as my hubby and I love watching him interact with the boys everyday.

Rebecca (Me!): I went back to school in January to finish up my Bachelors through BYU-Idaho. I managed to balance a full course load of classes while taking care of the boys on my own the majority of the time since Jason was traveling. I am SO happy I went back and finished though...it is a huge relief to be done! In April I filmed an episode for TLC's Extreme Couponing (which aired in June.) The episode was a huge success and I decided to start up a couponing website that teaches people the basics lets people know about all the *Hot* deals happening daily. It keeps me more than busy (I don't really sleep anymore) but I would be lying if I didn't tell you I love it. If I had to pick my dream job...this would be it. So between the website, and all the kids weekly activities (preschool, library, friends etc) I am busy!

Ethan: Ethan started preschool two weeks ago, and as we predicted, he loves it. He asks everyday if he gets to go! He loves playing with his friends and is a very social boy. He is friendly and is always saying "Hello" to anyone he happens to come across. He loves reading stories, going on walks to the park, and playing at McDonalds. He is very smart and knows all his numbers, colors and shapes. He is definitely in the "funny" stage because some of the things he says are just hilarious! He is an awesome big brother and takes pride in making sure Owen is taken care of. Ethan loves to help and *usually* does what he is asked to do. Ethan took swimming lessons this summer and can now swim a bit without anyone holding on to him (although his favorite thing is to just kick and float around in his inner tube.) We recently got back from a 2.5 week trip to Cali to visit my family and Ethan had the time of his life with his Aunties and Monka and Papa (Grandma and Grandpa). We went to the beach while we were there and Ethan tells everyone he meets about it and the "big, Big, BIG sand crabs he caught"!

Owen: Owen is my baby-turned-almost-toddler. He is definitely growing up and becoming more independent. He is constantly trying to keep up with his older brother. He has a daredevil side to him that Ethan never had. (He will probably be the child that keeps me up at night!) He loves playing outside, eating (anything and everything), chasing Dunder (our cat), and playing with Ethan. He is the opposite of Ethan in that he will actually still let me snuggle him and hold him on my lap for longer than two minutes at a time. He loves playing with his toy vacuum cleaner and throwing balls. He is saying about 25 words all on his own, and there have been several occasions when we are out and about and people have done a double take when he tells me "Thank You" for something perfectly.
