September

Okay..yay an update! With lots of pictures to boot!
First off..Ethan's room! Here it is..all painted and everything! It turned out really well considering it was the first room I have ever painted. And ta da! Ethan is finally sleeping in there all by himself! Tonight it will be a whole week! It was so hard the first night. Jason really had to convince me that it was way overdue. I just really like being able to see my baby sleep. The baby monitor we have is really sensitive and picks up every little sound so I can still hear everything though which is nice. If you didnt know, our room and Ethans room are clear on opposite sides of the house. So without a monitor we probably wouldnt be able to hear anything unless Ethan was really crying.
I'm not sure whats going on with my perfect all-night sleeper though. He now wakes up at like midnight to eat..whats up with that? However since he does that he sleeps straight through until 8:30 or nine instead of waking up at 7 for an hour and then going back to sleep. So I guess both ways have their perks.

If you didnt know...I love buying books. I have already bought lots. Not to mention Jason's mom and my sister in law have given us TONS. As you can see...we can read a new book every night! I love it!
The whole room...you like?

The next bunch of pictures is some of the scrapbooking pages I have completed so far (well my favorites) I have two pages left in my album and then I will have officially completed my first album. It's pretty exciting. And now that I found an awesome scrapping store I have to only allow myself to go there occasionally because everytime I do I end up buying way too much!

And Ethan sure loves story time with Daddy!
Last week Jasons parents came to Boise before they left for their cruise. We were able to go over to Jason's brothers house and have a nice dinner last Sunday. Ethan sure loves spending time with his cousins!

Haha these pictures were when Jason stuck Ethans shorts on his head and they smashed down his face into a hilarious scowl. I was laughing so hard!
The chubbiest baby ever!
And yesterday when I was shopping I found the cutest beanie ever for Ethan! I know it's kind of hard to see, but it has little brown ears on the top. Adorable!! I had ethan wear it around half the store I thought it was so cute!

Other than that...we are just enjoying life here in Boise!

Life as we know it

Well I've been slackin on updates. But for the record, it's not been completely my fault. Jason went to Indiana last week and took the computer with him. Ethan, dunder and I all missed him very much! It was a long week but we made it through! I was proud of myself that I didnt even get scared (I hate being by myself! I'm such a baby). I did my best to keep busy to make the week go by quickly. I scrapbooked with friends, went to the relief society brunch, went out to lunch with a new friend, had some friends over, and of course shopped. Ethan was wonderful so that made things much easier on me. He's my little love bug and he is the best baby ever! Jason and I texted lots and I made a video of Ethan saying hi! (okay so I don't think he said Hi on purpose but still-- so cute!)

Last night we went to Boondocks to go play miniture golf and do the batting cages. I wasnt too bad at the batting cages (go me) and Jason had some good hits too! Then we did mini golf and I was the champ-i-onnn. I beat Jason by one stroke and it felt goooood haha. And since I won I got to get a large bubble gum slush at Sonic.

Jason and I decided to get each other early anniversery presents since we both have been wanting certain things for a looong time. So I gave in and got Jason an X-Box 360 (regretting it yet? Possibly haha) and Jason got me a new phone. I hated the chocolate phone I picked out 2 years ago and I really wanted something new. So Jason got me a Verizon Voyager and I love it. It has the key pad, touch screen on the front and can go online, play TV and it has GPS. I'm still very excited about it as you can tell :)

Update on bubba:

Ethan has really gotten the hang of his jumperoo. He loves it and that makes our life easier because when I'm cleaning up or getting ready I can put him in there and he plays and plays. This past week he's really learned how to bounce in it and spin 360 degrees in it. Ethans favorite show is Miss Spider and it's the only show that really can hold his attention. It's computer animated (cartoons dont hold his interest) and I turn it on when I'm feeding him his veggies to distract him hehe. Ethan has had a cold since Sunday which has been crummy. On Sunday night he woke up like 4 times because he couldnt breathe (very sad). So yesterday we bought a humidifier, saline nasal drops and got him all set up with pillows to sleep on his side. And it worked pretty well because he only woke up once (and I think that was more because he woke up at that same time the night before). So hopefully he will get completely better soon so we can move him into his new room! He had his 6 month appt on Friday and he's a whopping 21lbs! Thats in the 97 percentile! Big babyy! We had to go buy him a big boy carseat this week because he had outgrown him baby carrier. I think he likes this one better because he can look around.

I started giving him bits of crackers this week and so far so good. He seems to be able to chew them and he likes them!

Lets see what else is new. Jasons new calling is teaching the 11 year old boys in primary. He had his first class on Sunday and he thinks it will be fun so that's good. As for me I don't think there is anything new. I'm deferring fall semester and am still planning on graduating in April. Ahh starting classes again will be so hard!
