So whats been going on with the Davidsons...

Not a whole lot haha. It's pretty much the same routine, but that's not such a bad thing. Today I'm going to another candle making class and I'm very excited...I do love making candles! I'm going with Lindsey and I love getting some time just to talk to another girl my age without any baby to worry about. Jason is doing me a huge favor and coming home early from work today to babysit Ethan. They should have some good "boy" time together hehe.

Ethan is doing great with solids-- sweet potatoes have been the food of the week! yummmy!

As the days go by the more we miss home, but we only have to hang in there another month or so and then off to home sweet home!

And Ethan gets to hang out with his cousins! We are hoping to get down to Utah to introduce him to the ones he hasnt met yet, including his twin cousins who are only 6 months older than him. I do miss being so close to our family in Boise so it will be so nice to be home!

Ethan has a corner of the couch we set him in so he can sit up and not tip over. Sometimes he slides down or falls asleep in it and it's pretty cute/funny! :)

Summer Fun!

ok so finally a update! And lots of pictures, so you've been warned!

The 4th of July was fun. We went and got A&W freezes, rented a movie and came home so Ethan could get his nap in. Then we ended up driving down to Sparks where the big show was going to be. We got some In-N-Out and found a seat on some grass. Ethan was a little bit overwelmed I think by all the people, but once we gave him a bottle and let him look around and check things out he did great. I was a little worried about how he would react to the fireworks but he did great! He wasnt scared at all and actually couldnt stop staring at them. I would definitely say he loved fireworks just like his mommy!

Then my family came down on Sunday evening (minus my dad and Jamie) and were here until this morning. They actually ended up staying at a hotel which worked out perfectly because that Ethan could still maintain a little bit of a routine. While they were here we went swimming, to Chuck E Cheese (my very favorite), out to breakfast and they had lots of fun with Ethan! I LOVE it when they are around because they WEAR my baby out! Last night he was so exhausted he slept from 10:00 until 8:30 this morning straight through! It was glorious.

This morning Ethan had his 4 month check up and he weighs a whopping 16lbs 14oz! He's in the 85 percentile for his weight! What a chub! My mom loved how chubby he was.. she get commenting on his rolls of fat (He has 3 rolls just on his thighs). What can I say..my boy loves to eat. And speaking of eating... I fed him his first meal of solids today! It was rice cereal with apple juice mixed in..and he loved it! He did fabulous! I thought it would be a lot harder..but he did great. He only spit a little bit back out and really seemed to like it! Yayyyy! And now we get to introduce a new kind of food to him every week.. how exciting! And hopefully it will make it so he sleeps until 8:30 every night! Oh man that would be great.
